General thunderstorms are forecast across western parts of the British Isles, the southeastern North Sea and much of Denmark

SYNOPSIS

Wednesday at 06Z... the deep cyclone north of Scotland moves slowly eastward, reaching scentral Scandinavia on Thursday morning. On its southern flank, unstable air flows eastward into western Europe. Thunderstorms may occur, especially near the several shortwave troughs that are embedded in this flow. Very strong low-level shear over Ireland and Scotland may allow for the formation of short-lived rotating updrafts and bow-echoes. An isolated tornado with this activity cannot be ruled out.
